The Zumwalt Prairie is just up a very rough road from us and is the largest bunchgrass prairie left in North America. The plant community there is vast, raptors soar, the elk graze, wild flowers bloom, and ranchers and conservationists work together to maintain the beauty and quiet of this special place. Our Wildflower Prairie Body Oil is made in honor of its many unique inhabitants. The wildflowers grow close to the ground on this vast, exposed prairie, and while we never harvest from this tender area, we do incorporate the botanical wisdom found here, infusing arnica, yarrow, elderberry, St. John's Wort and ponderosa pine needles in extra-virgin, organic olive oil. Using hemp seed oil grown locally, rose hip seed oil and a sprightly, refreshing blend of essential oils, we hope you'll feel the wind and the embrace of the mountains, and bask under the endless sky. I have now used this body oil for years, through 2 pregnancies and postpartum recoveries. It makes my post shower/bath into a truly special routine because of the incredible smell and how soft the oil leaves my skin. The floral, earthy fragrance isn’t too strong but is so delicious, I feel like I’m outside, surrounded by flowers!! Highly recommend.

I am not someone who writes reviews. But if you haven't discovered this Wildflower Prairie Body Oil, you, like me, will wonder why you didn't try it sooner. The mild scent brings kindness to the senses. The formulation is perfect for all skin types. Mine happens to be dry and I live in a dry climate. It absorbs into the skin without feeling greasy. This is the gift my friends and family will be receiving from me and I won't use any other body oil than that from Wild Carrot Herbals.
This is a light but very nourishing body oil. I use it alone or mix with a body lotion. It sinks right into your skin and leaves it feeling soft and moist.
I decided to treat myself and have felt a glow!! The oil I use is for my aging skin, along with my dehydration…I don’t drink enough!!
